A second storey addition, ground floor extensions and refreshed makeover for this 1935 built character home in Daglish. The second storey addition consists of a new master bedroom, walk-in robe, ensuite and parents retreat. Downstairs, the rear of the home was extended to create a new sunken lounge, laundry and alfresco area. The use of materials to maintain the character of the home was an important aspect, which includes, recycled jarrah floorboards, ornate cornices and period-correct timber battening and finials to the front facade. To provide a refresh, original face brickwork and the entire home were rendered and roof tiles were replaced with Zinaclume sheets.
